Renewing our minds

We have been bought to this time for a reason and a purpose, placed in this time to be the voice to a generation that doesn’t want to hear from or about God. A time in history that is so wicked and darkness is so prevalent, and  evil permeates everything!

God is speaking but are we listening? Just as in the time of The prophets and judges he is sending out his messengers to spread his message of salvation and love from the true source through Jesus the Christ.  The Savior and Messiah who comes to take away the sins of the world! 

Isaiah 61:1-5 shows the activation of the commission before the arrival of Jesus and when he gives us the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20 but you find they have similar aspects.  

In Isaiah 61

 We are called to go out to the poor  and those who are in prison to  setting the captives free and those who need healing for the brokenhearted, and to proclaim the day of the Lord, we are to comfort those who mourn and give beauty for ashes we are called. For the garment of praise, in heaviness so that the Lord may be glorified!    

In Matthew 28 

            We are called to go to all the world, and make disciples of Jesus baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things in Christ commanded us, and that he is with us always, and it all authority has been given to him, and now to us released so that we can go do his 

And both of these passages we are called to go out one to comfort people and bring glory to God the other, to tell them about God and move in his power . We have been released to move in God‘s power to bring healing to this world to the hearts of man they may know who God is. We have been called that the world there is a hope that all is not lost our Savior. Jesus Christ is the answer to it all!

I pray that today and everyday we move in his strength and presence so that we can bring other to him before it’s to late! The time is short and his return is eminently coming quickly.
