I have found at times it’s a challenge to be motivated for a new day especially in hard seasons.
We have seen a trend of negativity in the world, seeing things falling apart around us; prices rising on groceries, gas, and other essentials can make anyone want to give up.
So many challenges happen throughout the day but I have found one thing that helps keep me centered and that is prayer, it’s the one thing that I fall back on that lets me express my concerns to God.
Even when I don’t understand what is happening in the moment I know I can hit my knees and bring my concerns to his attention, my desires and even my woes are things that are valid in his eyes.
So many scriptures talk to us about prayer and I hope to encourage you today.
Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting. 2 Corinthians 13:9
Pray without ceasing . 1 Thessalonians 5:17
In everything with prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18
He hears us when we pray John 11:42
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.“ Matthew 21:22
I wanted to encourage you to start your day or even throughout your day to pray to help encourage yourself and to press into God who loves you so much he sent Jesus to die and be the ultimate sacrifice for us. To forgive our sins and redeem us back to himself.
