Faith Walk

As I begin each day one of the first things I do is soak in the presence of God, so I can spend time with him and enjoy his presence. When I don’t the things of this world weigh so heavily on me and discouraged me.

When I intentionally make room for him to show me what He wants me to do and how to be used of Him that day, it is so life giving. He can download instruction or give me promises that He has given to me. My favorite times are just when I can rest in him and just sit, it’s like sitting on your favorite persons lap and just being held.

When we step out in faith it can be a very scary process and moving into it is even harder to complete it. Starting to blog and talk about my faith journey was a challenging process to start, and the weeks that I don’t move in that shame and d guilt would try to come for me. It seemed like nothing I could do was enough, but guess what Holy Spirit just told me to pick up and try again no condemnation or telling me I wasn’t enough! He gave me verses to encourage me or correct me. Those times of correction never feels good but are so necessary so bring us back in right alignment with God.

When I would get to into myself he always brought me to James 4:10 “ Humble yourself before the Lord” talk about an ouch moment. Here I was thinking I’m a horrible person because I didn’t do an assignment, and I get a verse talking about being proud. If you look at it from another perspective it was, because I was trying to do it in my own strength and saying well if I did this or that it would be better.

The other way would be encouragement and He would speak his love over me by either a song , verse, or someone else telling me something He knew I needed to specifically hear from him that day.

When we let him move and surround us our days are changes and the people we impact for him is multiples! You have been sent in the name of the Lord. Go in his peace!
