Love …

We love because he first loved us? In this time we live in it can be hard to say we love anything. So much strife and hardship all around us and daily blofee can feel challenging on a good day! Yet one thing we can learn from the Messiah Yeshua(Jesus), is that we move and operate in a different space than others around us, we operate in His name!

If we task ourselves for our days in our own strength we won’t make it five minutes before our flesh rises up in anger or some emotion that is outside of what the word of God tells us is our greatest commandment!

LOVE!

We can clearly see that his love is above all things he came and died for us and took all our sins on himself so we could be back in right relationship with him!

Can you imagine them sitting in heaven going on to the father in behalf of this earth filled with ungrateful and hateful people and being the advocate and saying “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!” I mean wow, it’s hard to deal with my kiddos and people around me on a good day, but to knowingly take on every sin and place it on yourself and feel the separation from the Father on purpose the way that Yeshua(Jesus) did. It just makes me so grateful and thankful for his sacrifice, knowing that our savior took that in my place!

Does is have you looking back at things you’ve done to people and for people with a new light? Does it give your heart a little restart, making you more grateful for what you have or can share with those around you? I feel most days we can be more intentional in how we interact with others. Personally I felt unworthy of that love for a long time as I have had many trials in my life, molestation, imprisonment,múltiple accidents, and racism from a young age. Those experiences can wear on someone’s thought process and make it a hard road to hear that someone loves you with a never ending love and wants you to be part of him for eternity!

I encourage you today to give Yeshua(Jesus) a chance, let his love for you reach every space inside of you that was hurt, damaged, and full of pain. Let his love fill up those places with his love through the Holy Spirit, and see how your life can and will change!

It’s been about a week since I let that love fully encompass me and permeate every place in me! I had to forgive myself and others who hurt me and surrender it to the savior and let his love and joy penetrate my hard heart! I thought I was living before yet I was just surviving in life colored by guilt, shame, hurt, rage, and so much more His love was still there! Waiting so patiently for me to accept it all, I just had to yield to him and surrender everything!

Do you know what I have gotten in return? His peace and joy beyond my wildest dreams, I never knew what this felt like until He healed my heart and showed me by wrapping his arms around me! Yes this has been a process, yes it’s taken a lot of work to get her nearly three decades but I have arrived and so can you!

I encourage you to trust him with the process, it can be a lonely road when we try to do it on our own!! Let Yeshua(Jesus) guide and keep you by way of the Holy Spirit!

Love with an everlasting love!!

Blessings!!

Jes
